Hello MedSoc! My name is Jimena and I’ll be your secretary this year. This will be my second year in MedSoc since I was first year rep last year.
My role includes keeping track of meetings, agendas and minutes to ensure that communication between our members is efficient and we discuss the important issues facing our society. If you have anything you want discussed feel free to email me!
I also make sure that the minutes are ready to go up on the website to make ensure transparency.
Favorite thing about bsms:
What’s not to love. The people are some of the friendliest bunch I’ve ever met, the campus is right in the middle of a national park and just a short bus ride from an awesome city and the number of societies to join are endless! Never a boring moment.
Best memory:
An impromptu hungover brunch with my flatmates at the Student Union.
Dream job:
Probably teaching how to surf in some remote island and eating smoothie bowls and doing yoga until the end of my days.
Hangover cure:
Take a cold shower brush your tongue with a toothbrush, eat a lot of carbs and wash it down with a pint of pineapple juice.
Favorite film:
Kung fu panda is a cinematic perfection.
